The Potato Project has officially begun! Derek Rhodenizer, the vice-principal at Heritage Academy, and his students have officially launched their long-anticipated Potato Project, as of Friday April 27th. The annual Pharmasave National Conference & Buying Show was held at the new Ottawa Convention Centre this year. On Saturday April 21st, at the end of the show, the conference organizers encouraged exhibitors to donate their remaining products to the Ottawa Food Bank; these were items such as much-needed household, hygiene, and personal supplies.
