It is contest time!
Help us raise awareness that Christmas isn’t SHINY and BRIGHT when you’re hungry. With that awareness will hopefully come some support to help those in our community who need it them most this holiday season.
Here’s where you come in
You have a chance to help us spread the word, and win a prize. Here’s how:
- Find one of the Ottawa Food Bank ornaments that we’ve hung around town.
- Post a selfie with it online with #FillPlates
- Wait to see if you’ve won!
- Feel free to donate to the cause, and encourage your friends to do the same
We’ll choose a few of the photos at random to win incredible prizes generously donated by Bridgehead and Gabriel Pizza!

I found a Christmas ball on George St. the Byward Market tonight – Dec. 13 2015 – and posted a selfie with message and #FillPlates on Instagram – handle bravoj30 – good program, fun contest, great cause!
