OTTAWA FOOD BANK

Food Donations

WHAT TO DONATE.

At the Ottawa Food Bank, we request that you donate mainly non-perishable food items such as canned meats and vegetables, cereal, rice and more. We ask for these items because they’re easier to store and deliver to our member agencies as needed. Also, we ask that you make healthy choices when picking the food to donate.

Take a look at this list to see what kind of food our beneficiaries need most, or if you’d prefer to donate money, click here.

Ontario’s Donation of Food Act, 1994 absolves any food donor (individual or corporate) from liability when the food is donated in good faith.
