Ottawa Mission

Steve, a middle-aged man, spent a lifetime struggling with mental health and addiction issues. He has spent time in homeless shelters but over the last year he has found stable housing and has been managing both his addiction and mental health symptoms.
About once a month, Steve comes into the Ottawa Mission to attend a community meal and access the Grocery Bag program. While he does access his neighborhood food bank, the once-a-month supply tends to run out before his next visit and through The Mission he’s able to make sure the cupboards do not go bare.
