BOB FM Cookbook
BOB FM listeners started sharing recipes online just before Christmas 2011, and quickly decided that these should all be compiled into a cookbook. This book features everything from appetizers to mains to drinks. The cost is only $10, and the collaborators decided that all proceeds will go to the Ottawa Food Bank! Thyme & Again
In celebration of their 20th anniversary, Thyme & Again will be having a number of sales in their food shop throughout the year. Follow them on Twitter and Like them on Facebook to be notified of all their specials. A portion of the sales from their “20 Years Young Sales” will be donated to the Ottawa Food Bank.
A section of the Grill 41 menu is designated as Chef Michael Smith’s Favourite Flavours. A portion of the sales from this delectable menu benefits the Ottawa Food Bank.
Body By Vi Community Challenge
Body By Vi Community Challenge is an initiative that allows anyone to donate protein and nutrient shake mix to children and families who don’t have the means to get the nutrition they need each day. The benefits from all Ottawa area donations will be directed towards the Ottawa Food Bank.
- Donate 30 shake meals for just $24 and ViSalus will match with an additional 30 shake meals.

Mark Evenchick – Incident at the Hang Dog Saloon
Local singer/songwriter Mark Evenchick has just launched his first CD, Incident at the Hang Dog Saloon. All proceeds from the sales of the CD will be donated to the Ottawa Food Bank. To date, Mark has raised over $1,200 to fight community hunger, and that amount is sure to rise! When you purchase a car from Otto’s Subaru they will donate $100 to charity. Otto’s Subaru supports five charities through this initiative, and it is up to you as to which charity you would like to donate the money – Ottawa Food Bank is one of the lucky five recipients.
