St Joe’s Women’s Shelter

Rachael is a single mother of three teenagers.  Up until recently, Rachael was working full-time at a coffee shop.

Unfortunately, Rachael was forced to quit her job because her youngest daughter became very ill.  Rachael now spends the better part of her day looking after her daughter.

After leaving her work, Rachael struggled to meet her family’s basic needs.  She heard about St. Joe’s Women’s Centre through an old coworker.

The centre assisted Rachael with groceries and clothing for her and her family.  Rachael knows that if she can get occasional help with groceries, she will be able to bridge the gap until her daughter gets better and she is able to get back on her feet again.
